DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE

5.1 Safety measures:

The safety devices are illustrated in Fig. 4: they must be installed accurately and be in proper working order.
The machine cannot be used if one or more safety devices are missing or damaged; the description of the safety devices
are given below

5.2 Side brush:

The side brush, Detail 5 Fig. 4, acts as a conveyor of the dust and rubbish and is only used to clean edges, corners and
borders; after these operations it has to be lifted up to avoid raising dust and also because the cleaning effect of the side
brush is always less than that of the main broom.
NEVER TOUCH THE SIDE BRUSH WITH YOUR HANDS WHEN IT IS TURNING, DO NOT COLLECT
THREADY MATERIAL.
