Oil inspection and oil change

Danger!
Electric shock possible!

Pull out the main power plug before starting work!
Caution!

Handle and dispose of the used oil and the oil filter in accordance
with the valid conditions.
Note!

If the machine was in operation, wait for about 15 minutes before
checking the oil (foam reduction).

If the oil is not gold-yellow but white or dark an oil change must be
carried out.

If the oil level is below the MIN mark indicated on the oil inspection
glass, the oil needs to be topped up.
Oil type see chapter "Technical Data".
When changing the oil, the pump must be operationally warm, switched off and
ventilated to atmospheric pressure (no more vacuum in the chamber).
Vacuboy, PlusVac 20, PlusVac 80

Accessible through lifting up the casing:
- Remove the insertion plates from the
chamber.
Secure the cover with the cover down
-
holder.
- Vacuboy, PlusVac 20: Open the
casing with removing the two screws on
the backside of the machine and lift up
the casing from the backside.
- PlusVac 80: Open the casing with
removing the two screws on the front
side of the machine and lift up the
casing from the front side.

1 Oil inspection glass

2 Oil filler screw
3 Oil drain screw

Remove the oil filler screw 2.

Let the used oil out through the oil drain screw 3 into
1 a suitable container.

Screw back down the oil drain screw.

Refill the fresh oil until the MAX mark has been
reached on the oil inspection glass 1.

Close up the oil inlet using the oil filler screw 2.


Do not squeeze the tubes and cables when closing the casing.
