Nozzles recommended
Delavan 80° type A.
The burner complies with the emission requirements of the EN
267 standard.
In order to guarantee that emissions do not vary, recommended
and/or alternative nozzles specified by Riello in the Instruction
and warning booklet should be used.
It is advisable to replace nozzles every year dur-
ing regular maintenance operations.
WARNING
The use of nozzles other than those specified by
Riello S.p.A. and inadequate regular maintenance
may result into emission limits non-conforming to
the values set forth by the regulations in force, and
CAUTION
in extremely serious cases, into potential hazards
to people and objects.
The manufacturing company shall not be liable for
any such damage arising from nonobservance of
the requirements contained in this manual.

Pump pressure
The pump leaves the factory set at 14 bar.

Adjusting air delivery
Depending on burner output, regulate air by rotating the feeder 1)
(Fig. 17) and then the knob 3).

The regulations given in the Tab. A page 16, are purely indica-
tive. Each system has working conditions that cannot be forecast
beforehand: effective nozzle capacity, pressure or depression in
the combustion chamber, excess air, etc.
All these conditions can require different air regulation.

8.5.1
Feeder regulation
Do the following make the regulation:
Remove the hood from the burner 1) (Fig. 17), loosen the
four screws 2);
turn the feeder 5) positioning it in accordance with the val-
ues shown in the Tab. A page 16;
Tighten the three screws 2) with a torque no higher than 0.8
Nm.
It is important to ensure the feeder is correctly
fixed by the screws, to avoid the setting changing
when the burner is working.
WARNING
8.5.2
Knob adjustment
Turn the knob 3) (Fig. 17).
Clockwise reduces the airflow section and increases CO
values: anticlockwise does the opposite.
The air inlet must not be blocked in the knob area
3) (Fig. 17), or the aspiration grid area 10) (Fig. 3),
except by the cover.
DANGER
You must not probe inside the knob intake open-
ing 3) (Fig. 17) with your fingers or any sort of tool.
It is important to take account of the fact that
the air output of the fan differs according to
whether the burner has its cover fitted or not.
WARNING
Therefore we recommend to proceed as follows:
Check the feeder setting position.
Turn the knob as given in the Tab. A page 16.
Replace the cover and tighten the screw.
Check the smoke number device and CO
If it's necessary to correct the regulations, remove the cover
and adjust as required.
Replace the cover and check the smoke number device and
CO
again.
