Clamping and Releasing Workpieces

Clamping workpieces
NOTICE
Avoid internal tension.
Damage to the NC4.
Ø Only clamp workpieces from the outside.
Where possible, machine clamped workpieces against the fixed jaw.

1. Move the mobile jaw towards the workpiece by turning the drive clockwise.
ð As soon as both jaws make contact, the coupling is released.
2. Continue to turn until the stop is reached.
ð The workpiece is clamped.
