Preliminary operations
• Check the perfect condition of the various components of the unit.
• Control that contained within the packing, there are the installation accessories, and documentation.
• Transport the packed section as close as is possible to the intended place of installation.
• Do not place tools or weight on top of the packed unit.
• Once that the unit is installed, check that the impeller turns free of friction.
Choosing place of installation
• Do not position the unit in an area in which flammable gases, acidic or corrosive substances are pre-

• Do not use in hazardous environments, such as gasoline vapors, alcohol, or when using products that
release flammable gases and aerosols.
• Provide a minimum clearance of 700 mm on each side, depending on the size of the fan. This will
facilitate the installation and maintenance tasks.
IMPORTANT:
For the perfect operation of the units, the installation must made under the norms UNE
100-230-95 any other configuration may reduce the performance, life time or destroy the
fan. Lack of observation of this indications of the unit may cause the withdrawal of the
warranty.
N.B: For more information about this norm UNE 100-230-95 you can contact with NOVOVENT agents.
IMPORTANT:

(such as grids).
For wall, glass or roof installation you must:
• Open the front cover by loosening the screw.
• To fix it use the circular holes of the base that can be used as a template. Drill the holes in the wall with
5 mm drill bit and anchor the fan to the wall using screws.
In the case of equipment designed to be inserted in ducts:
• Ducts should be sized according to the installation and the characteristics of the fan.
