Installation
Unpacking the Device: After unpacking the device, examine it for damage and verify parts. The Unit
comes with: (1) LHWB wall bracket, (1) WB weatherproof backbox, and (2) hardware kits. If a part is
missing or damaged do not attempt to install. Contact Federal Signal Customer Support at
+1 708-534-4756 or iordersup@fedsig.com.
Mounting the Device:
1. Using the backbox as a template, mark the location of the mounting holes on the surface. Drill
holes and attach backbox with user supplied hardware that can support the weight of the light and
bracket.
2. Attach backbox to conduit system and allow 6 inches of supply wire inside the box for light hook
up. Plug unused entries with the supplied conduit plugs.
3. For 3/4" NPT pipe mount lights, feed wires from light through provided 3/4" NPT pipe nipple and
thread nipple into light until secure. For 1/2" NPT or 1" NPT pipe mount lights, use accessory kit
K2881358. This kit includes proper conduit nipples and reducer bushings for these applications.
4. Feed wires through opening on wall bracket and secure 3/4" NPT connection.
5. Follow instructions provided with the warning light to make wiring connections.
A ground screw is provided inside the backbox if needed.
6. Attach bracket assembly to the backbox using the four supplied screws and screw collars, tighten
to approximately 15 in-lb to ensure proper gasket compression.
7. Apply power and test for proper operation.

Repair Service: A return authorization is required. Contact your Authorized Distributor or Federal
Signal Customer Support at +1 708-534-4756 or iordersup@fedsig.com. Defective products under
warranty will be repaired or replaced at Federal Signal's discretion. Lamp failures excluded.
Product Returns: A return authorization is required from Federal Signal prior to returning the product.
