Vertical hydromassage
The hydromassage system is provided with 16 water jets (8
for the ST2 models). For the electronic models the jets de-
velop their action in a sequence, from bottom to top, in groups
of four at a pre-established speed, which can be modified;
instead, for the ST2 models they work at the same time. All
of the jets are arranged alongside the panel, symmetrically,
with the exception of the Thema 100 and 120 rectangular
models, in which they are placed on the longest side of the
wall, on two rows close to one another.
• Adjust the water temperature and set up the function as in-
dicated in the chapter on the "Shower" function.
I Mod. ST2
• (fig. 1) Turn the knob of the deviator to the indicated position.
I Mod. ELT
• (fig. 2) Turn the knob of the deviator to the indicated position.
• Press the key (1) as shown in fig. 3. The corresponding LED
comes on and the hydromassage cycle starts. From the noz-
zles, in groups of four and from the bottom to the top, the mas-
saging jets come out. At the same time, the LED's located
alongside the sector keys go on and off sequentially.
• During operation you can de-activate or re-activate sectors
by pressing the corresponding keys (2). You cannot however
shut off more than two sectors.
• If you wish, you can change the speed of the sequence as
follows: when you press the key (3), the corresponding scale
of LED's starts flashing. You can use the "+" and/or "-" keys to
change the set speed, shown on the display. If however these
keys are not pressed within 6 seconds, you will have to press
the key again to make the change.
• Press the key (1) again as shown in fig. 3 and the function
stops.
NOTE
(fig. 4) The intensity of the massage, or the form (or pattern)
of each jet can be modified by turning the appropriate ring nut.
If you turn it clockwise you will have a fan-shaped spray; if you
turn it counter-clockwise you will have a single, concentrated
jet. Also, the jets can be inclined about 7° in any direction.
In electronic models (except for version ELT 3), the vertical
hydromassage function can be combined with the hot-and-
cold effect. Refer to the corresponding chapter for a more
detailed explanation.
Remember to turn off the mixer tap and position the
diverter to "under seat outlet" (fig.5-6); if you have a
thermostatic mixer, turn the relevant knob to below 38
°C and also turn off the stop tap.
