PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS 1. Someone should be within range of your voice or close enough to come to your aid when you work near a lead-acid battery. 2. Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case battery acid contacts skin, clothing, or eyes.

Never place the charger directly above the battery being charged; gases from the battery will corrode and damage the charger. 3. Never allow battery acid to drip on the charger when reading specific gravity or filling the battery.

The battery can now be put back into service or can remain indefinitely on the charger without risk of overcharging. The charger will maintain the battery at full charge until it is needed for service.

This warranty extends to each person who acquires lawful ownership within one year of the original retail purchase, but is void if the product has been abused, altered, misused or improperly packaged and damaged when returned for repair.
