7. Mix bags of concrete and pour into the hole. Follow instructions on concrete
bag. Stop about 16" from court level so you can still see the top of the Masonry
block you placed earlier. See Figure 4.
8. Set the bottom of the pole on the masonry block in the hole. Make sure the
Pole stays on the block as shown in Figure 4. The "Bury line" should be level
with the playing surface see Detail 1.

While one person holds the pole in place have two other people finish pouring
concrete up to court level. Use a level to make sure pole is vertical.
10. Before the concrete sets up, be sure the pole is vertical and oriented correctly.
The stop bar located on the top pole should be parallel with the playing surface
or court. This will insure the backboard is oriented correctly after assembly.
Also, use the template provided on page 17 of the manual to align the pole to
the playing surface.
POST ASSEMBLY
STOP BAR IS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE POLE.
For the backboard to be square with the playing
surface, make sure the Stop Bar is square with the
playing surface. Use alignment template provided
on page #17 of the manual.
