Installation

5.1

Location

NOM 11 is to be installed indoors.
Ensure that there is enough room for filter operation, replacement and
maintenance.
5.1.1

Floor mounting

The filter legs, see Figure 2, item 4, can be extended and secured in 3 different
positions. Place the unit in the correct location.
5.1.2

Wall mounting

Position the holes (c/c=600 mm (23.6") horizontally). Use a spirit level to
ensure horizontal mounting. Select a level surface on which to mount the unit.
Ensure that suitable fixing bolts are used and that they are secure. The bolts
(M10) are each to withstand a minimum force of 1,000 N.
5.2

Installing NOM 11

For the location of different parts, see Figure 2.
WARNING!
The unit is to be lifted with its front side towards the fork truck, see Figure 2,
item X.
WARNING!
Always use proper lifting and protective equipment.
Use a fork truck to lift the unit from the pallet.
NOTE!
removed if the unit is used free-blowing and without a silencer. The duct is to
be at least 1 m if the unit is used free-blowing.
We recommended that a 90° bend and/or a silencer is fitted on the outlet of the
unit.
To install the unit:
1. Connect the drain pipe onto the drain spigot. Ensure that air cannot be
drawn back along the drain pipe. If this occurs, the oil will not drain
properly. This problem can be solved either by making an oil lock with
a bend in the ducting, see Figure 2, item 5, or by ensuring that the drain
hose drains below the surface, see Figure 2, item 6.
2. We recommend that a damper, see Figure 2, item 3, is fitted on the inlet of
the unit, to adjust the air flow.
3. Connect the inlet duct to the filter inlet, see Figure 2, item 2.
