Connecting the 9-pin connector
1. Route the relay wires through the corresponding cable
gland (5).
2. Insert the relay wires in the provided 9-pin connector.
a. Connect the wires for A1 (pre-alarm), A2 (main alarm),
and FLT (fault relay) to the terminals.
b. Check the correct connection with the wiring table and
the marks on the circuit board.
c. Secure the cable cores by tightening a cable tie
around them.
3. Plug the 9-pin connector into the socket (11) and tighten
screws with correct torque (4.4 ... 5.3 Lbs. In. / 0.5 ... 0.6
Nm).
4. Close the instrument.

4.6.3 4-20mA Interface

The 4-20mA interface allows transmitting the measured
values to a control unit. Only an operation as current source is
possible.
3-pin connector
A 3-pin connector is provided for the connection of the 4-20
mA interface wiring.

Connecting the 3-pin connector
1. Route the 4-20mA interface wires through the
corresponding cable gland (3).
2. Remove the bridge between pin 1 and 3 of the 3-pin
connector.
3. Insert the wires in the provided 3-pin connector
a. Check the correct connection with the wiring table and
the marks on the circuit board.
4. Secure the cable cores by tightening a cable tie around
them.
5. Plug connector into the socket (3) and tighten screws with
correct torque (1.9 ... 2.2 Lbs. In. / 0.22 ... 0.25 Nm).
6. Close the instrument.
NOTICE
Unless special measures are taken (e. g. capacitive earthing),
the shield must only be connected at one end.
NOTICE
If the 4-20 mA interface is no longer used, reinstall the bridge
between pin 1 and 3 of the 3-pin connector.
