Warning: Ensure the electricity is turned OFF at the main
switch board before wiring to connector.
All work on cable and motor should only be carried out by a
qualified Saniflo servicing agent, as special tools are requi-
red.

NORM
• SANIBEST Pro
conforms to the European directives and
®
standards on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility
and building products. It conforms to EN 12050-3 (lifting
plant for wastewater containing faecal matter for limited
applications).
9
COMMISSIONING THE UNIT
Once electrical and plumbing connections have been made,
flush the WC once. The motor should run from 5 to
10 seconds to clear the waste (depending on the length and
height of the pipe run). If it runs for more than 30 seconds,
check that the discharge pipe is not kinked or blocked or
check that the non-return valve is correctly installed.
Flush the WC checking that all seals, and connections are
watertight. Check both the discharge pipework from the
unit, and the waste pipes from washbasin or shower.
WARNING:
There should be no dripping of water from the
WC cistern or taps. If there is, this will cause the unit to
activate repeatedly as it pumps the water away.
10
USAGE
A WC fitted with a SANIBEST Pro
not require any special maintenance.
The SANIBEST Pro
will operate automatically as soon as
®
the required level of water enters the case.
WARNING:
The water authorities strongly discourage the
disposal of sanitary items such as condoms, tampons and
sanitary pads via a WC. Nowever, should such items be
flushed down a WC attached to SANIBEST Pro
able to accept these items without blocking.
However, any such use lies outside the field of application,
and any damage caused to the unit due to maceration of these
foreign bodies, together with wipes, food products, hairs,
objects made of metal, wood or plastic, or solvents, acids and
other chemicals, lies outside the scope of the
guarantee.
11
CARE OF YOUR SANIBEST
In order to remove scale and clean the macerator and the
bowl, use a household descalent.
• Disconnect the macerator power,
• Pour an amount of descalent in the pan
• leave it to stand for 1 or 2 hours,
• Re-connect the macerator power,
• Rinse by operating the flushing system twice.
Carry out the operation once every 3 months on average, but
the frequency may need to be changed depending on the
hardness of the water.
FAULT FINDING/REMEDIES
12
For the most part any inconsistencies in the operation
of the unit will be minor and easily rectified. Please refer
to the chart below. If the problem cannot be easily remedied
in this way. Please call our Service organisation.
