QUICK RELEASE MAGAZINE (Fig 10,11,12,13)
The 400/500/600/700/800 series staplers contain a Quick Release Magazine feature. The magazine is
spring loaded to reduce jamming. When a jam does occur, a quick release mechanism at the rear of the
magazine allows the magazine to move back, in order to clear the jam.
Warning! ALWAYS DISCONNECT AIR SUPPLY BEFORE CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER
If a jam does occur, locate the latch at the rear of the magazine (Fig 10). Pull down on the latch to open
(Fig 11) and rotate it clockwise
back to clear the jam. After removing the jammed fastener, push on the latch, rotate it
counterclockwise and push up to close.
