INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Before proceeding to the use of Explorer it is
necessary to install a filling valve (if it must be
used) and screw the handle. To install the later
the user must check that in the inside of the re-
cipient the provided Nylon washers have been
inserted in the screw, and the head of the screw
stays outside, and that it is firmly fixed with the
supplied nut. This unit has been tested in the
factory to ensure its perfect functioning, so if
there is any leakage during its use, undo the
screws and washers and reassemble very care-
fully.
To ensure the tightness of the device a chem-
ical sealer has been used on the nuts. There
could be rests of it in the interior, therefore it
could appear white foam when using at first.
This effect disappears with the use, but mean-
while the boiled water should not be used for
human or animal consumption.
The connector cable must be inserted into the
input to that effect and please make sure it is
firmly screwed.

Fill with non-inflammable and non-toxic liq-
uid (preferably water, although it is not neces-
sary to be drinking water). If the automatic fill-
ing system is not used, continue reading step 3.
If such system is used, unscrew the side lid, in-
sert the valve and screw it tightly. Pass the tube
supplied by PowerSpot or one of similar calibre
through the whole in the opposite end of the
handle, suction water from a deposit (bucket,
sauce pan, drum, etc.) place at least half a me-
tre above the Explorer level and, when the wa-
ter springs forth, connect the tube to the valve
joint elbow. Wait until it springs forth and en-
sure the level rises until the level buoy stops
more water coming in.
Place the device over a flame or hot surface. Al-
though a small flame from an alcohol or kero-
sene burner is enough, it will perform better if
the flame comes from a gas burner. In any case,
make sure it does not surpass the edges of the
recipient. In the first place because it will ex-
haust unnecessarily the materials of the device,
and in the second place because any flame
that exceeds the Explorer diameter will have no
heating effect on its base.
