If the Explorer is placed over any hob (city gas,
butane gas, portable, etc.), it will start lighting
up bulbs in only thirty seconds. Thus, using the
double connector, in little time you can have
light over the kitchen, light in the same room
and power to charge mobile phones. The use
of Explorer on any cooker in a house turns it
into a power generator, giving it greater versa-
tility. Since it does not emit air and uses little
flame, it allows cooking by having the Explor-
er as another saucepan without the necessity
to use the filling system. It is enough to place
the Explorer over the flame and in a few sec-
onds you will have as much light as you need.
Explorer can work when placed over hot sur-
faces such as a barbecue, a hot plate, a stove
and a victroceramic hob. In fact, it requires less
heat than a direct flame because these will dis-
sipate heating regularly on the base of the de-
vice.
If placed over a stove, Explorer can charge mo-
biles or activate a Ps Water bulb as long as the
temperature of the surface reaches 120ºC.
However, given that every stove is different, it
is necessary to test its capacity to activate the
Explorer in situ. If this is going to be the usu-
al heating system for the Explorer, to obtain a
better performance is convenient to create an
opening that covers as much as possible the
whole base of the machine, in a way that the
heat gets directly to the base. Therefore it will
be possible to light up more light bulbs and
charge larger electric appliances.

Ideally, Explorer provides a 9w light point
(around 800 lumens). However, it can slightly
light up at least twenty points, which is usually
enough for a family house. You must take into
account that every time you add a light bulb,
the voltage will be reduced slightly, and each
light bulb will shine less. Therefore you will have
more light points but with lower intensity.
All PowerSpot thermoelectric generators can

For the use of the water pump it is necessary
to use Explorer at full power. For this it is usu-
ally necessary a flame from a gas burner or a
multi-combustible pressure burner. The pump
does not bear temperatures over 60ºC, there-
fore it must never be immersed in the Explorer.
Passing the plastic tube of the filling system
through the whole of the opposite side of the
handle is not essential, but it is convenient in or-
der to protect it and move it away from the heat.
