To check the Argovent's tightness against leak-
age:

▷ With the gas flow on, completely seal off the
protective-gas outlet (rear hole) 1 of the sinter-
ing base 2 with your finger.

The ball in the manometer sink to zero (gas flow
stopped).
If this is not the case:
▷ Check the elbow at the Argovent hose end again
for tight seating.
NOTE:
Should the pressure at the cylinder's pressure
reducer deviate from 1 bar during the program
run in daily operation:
▷ Immediately set the pressure to 1 bar.

WARNING:

▷ Check the air flow only when the furnace is
cold.
The furnace is factory-pre-set when shipped.
When the air flow is active, a pressure of 1 bar is
automatically given.
The air flow must be checked prior to the first pro-
gram run.
