Installation
Premium Wet Clean Module
(Continued)
3. Positioning the canister/filter/pump
assembly:
a. Place the canister/filter/pump assembly,
included in the kit, behind the washer-
extractor. Connect the canister/filter
inlet with the flex hose.
b. Position canister/filter/pump assembly
so that the flex hose bends comfortably.
4. Wiring the drain valve on the canister/
filter/pump assembly (see Drawing No.
632831 included in the kit):
a. Extend 2-conductor cable, included in
the kit, from drain valve on the canister/
filter/pump assembly to the left drain
valve on the washer-extractor.
b. Splice 2-conductor cable with the left
drain valve motor leads, using the
double-tab terminals included in the kit.
Note:
The cable has a red wire and a black
wire. These colors are not important to the
installation procedure in regard to ACN
(neutral or common) and ACH (hot). The
washer-extractor drain valve wires are blue for
ACN and gray for ACH. Since the drain valves
are not polarized, either connection will
energize the drain.
5. Assembling the electrical components in
the control module:
a. Remove the cover on the control
module by removing the screws at the
rear of the cover and then sliding the
cover off the control module from front
to back.

b. Attach the pump contactor, included in
the kit, to the existing contactor
mounting rail. This rail already
contains the mains contactor.
It may be necessary to slide the mains
Note:
contactor to provide enough room to mount the
pump contactor onto the mounting rail. Also,
be sure to position the contactor in such a way
that terminals T4 and L4 are adjacent to the
sidewall of the control module, with terminals
T1, T2, and T3 facing the front of the control
module. This will prevent possible arc-over
from contactor to sidewall.
c. Attach the circuit breaker, included in
the kit, to the other existing mounting
rail (currently vacant).
6. Wiring electrical components in control
module (see Drawing No. 632831,
included in the kit):
a. Connect the 18GA blue wire, included
in the kit, from terminal A1 on the
pump contactor coil to any blue wire on
a terminal strip located on the side of
the control module. This provides an
AC-common.
b. Connect a 15-inch 18GA gray wire,
included in the kit, to the fuseboard
output terminal A2. This will be
spliced later.
c. Install a 500mA fuse, included in the
kit, in the A2 output on the fuse output
board.
d. Connect a 10-inch 18GA gray wire,
included in the kit, to terminal A2 (the
other side of the pump contactor coil
opposite of the 18GA blue wire
connected in Step 6a). This will be
spliced later.
