Special use

• The emergency lighting bulb tests are preprogrammed to take place at 0.00 hrs on Monday. For ease of instal-
lation and / or use, it is possible to change the parameters for the time, day, week and the test group in the
control panel Cat. No. 628 00. Similarly, it is possible to delete or temporarily ignore an AELU in an emergen-
cy lighting installation (see the Operation / Managing AELUs section in the instructions for the control panel).
• If the premises are being used out of hours, it is possible to :
- (If the mains is present) force a changeover to emergency mode, then reset the AELU to standby mode
- (After a mains failure) force a changeover to rest mode, then reset the AELU to emergency mode
- Stop and temporarily postpone a battery standby power test currently in progress. In this case, the test will be post-
poned until the AELU is powered up.
For this, use the remote control buttons on the control panel Cat. No. 628 00 (see the Control panel
maintenance/Special operation section in the instructions for the control panel).
Maintenance
Control panel Cat. No. 628 00 both monitors and manages faults in the emergency lighting installation (see the
Operation / Maintenance menu section in the instructions for the control panel).

• Emergency lighting bulbs
Replacing and checking the bulbs when an emergency lighting fault is
signalled (the orange LED flashes quickly).
To do this :
- Remove the diffuser.
- Press the "test" button briefly. The bulbs light up for 6 seconds.
- Replace the bulbs which do not light up.
- Check that the repair has been carried out correctly by pressing the
"test" button briefly. The bulbs will light up for 6 seconds.
- If it has been carried out correctly =>
• Pilot light
Replacing and checking the bulb when a pilot light fault is signalled
(the orange LED flashes slowly).
To do this :
- Remove the diffuser.
- Replace the pilot light.
- Repair checked automatically (if the batteries are charged).
- If it has been carried out correctly => - the orange LED goes out
