Important :
Batteries fitted in this unit and wich contain cadmium can be hazardous for the environment..

- Refitting the batteries :

- After reassembly, if correctly undertaken, the LEDs indicate :
- either that the system is not ready (green/orange LEDs flashing). Wait for the AELU to change to battery
charging mode (green LED flashing).
- or battery charging mode.
- Check the repair by pressing the "test" button briefly. The green LED goes out and the emergency lighting
bulbs illuminate for 6 seconds.
- If the test is correct, the orange LED goes out and the green LED starts to flash again (whilst the batteries
are charging), and is then lit continuously.
• AELU (complete)
When replacing the complete AELU, take care to follow the steps indicated in the control panel instruc-
tions (Operation / Maintenance menu section), in order to retain the same address and the same pro-
gramming for the AELU before and after any intervention.
Replacing the AELU when a fault occurs.
To do this :
- Remove the faulty AELU.
- Using the blank adhesive labels supplied with the control panel Cat. No. 628 00, mark the new AELU casing
with the address of the faulty AELU (address prompted by the control panel.)
- Fit the new AELU (after first writing the date of first use on the back of the casing).
- On power-up, the pilot light lights up, the LEDs flash green/orange alternately for 30 seconds, then the green
LED only flashes or is lit continuously provided the batteries are sufficiently charged.
- When checking the repair, address the AELU by pressing the "test" button for 6 seconds.
The orange LED lights up for 10 seconds, after which the AELU returns to standby mode
=> Readdressing has been performed correctly.

Note :
After replacing the batteries, write the new
date of first use on the back of the casing.
