1. PreParation and Cleaning oF the imPlant abutments and internal surFaCes oF the restoration
Check the accuracy of fit and freedom from tension, the occlusion and contact points, before proceeding with the integration. Before
cementing, degrease the abutment and superstructure, and clean (e.g. with alcoholic solutions) and dry them thoroughly (Fig. 1).
2. miXing and aPPliCation
The squeezing is done with the mini-mix system. Insert the plunger into the cartridge body. Remove the cartridge seal by turning it.
Before fitting the mixing cannula, squeeze out a small amount of material until material is being uniformly emitted from both outlet
openings (Fig. 2). Attach the mixing cannula in accordance with the guides on the cannula and cartridge, and lock it by turning it in the
opposite direction (Fig. 3). Emit material with even pressure. Spread a small amount of material before use and check visually that the
base and catalyst pastes are homogeneously mixed (Fig. 4). Only then can the metering be carried out individually. After use, leave the
mixing cannula on the cartridge until the next application.
3. inserting the restoration
Apply a thin layer of implantlink® semi to the inner side of the superstructure (Fig. 5). Immediately afterwards, apply slight pressure to
the implant abutments to bring them into position (Fig. 6), then press on firmly. Remove excess material after approx. 2 – 3 minutes
with a suitable instrument (Fig. 7).
4. oPen time / light Curing
The open time at room temperature is approx. 60 sec. Curing at body temperature takes place within 5 – 6 min. Where direct exposure
is possible, the curing can be supported and shortened at any time by light exposure (marginal area, protrusions). An exposure time of
20 seconds per area is recommended for this (Fig. 8). Where translucent materials (e.g. thin layers of ceramics, temporary K&B materials)
are used, it is also possible to expose through the material, extending the exposure time per area to 30 – 40 seconds.
