Tighten the screw (Fig. 26/1) of the carburetor.
Put back the service panel on the pump and fasten it with the screw (Fig. 5/1).
Screw the fuel tank filler cap on the pump.
Use the drained petrol before it gets too old. Refer to section 6.5.2.
Store the pump
Store the pump in a dry and well-ventilated dust-free area.
Fasten the pump so it can not fall over to prevent fuel and oil leaking.

Extra user information
6.5.1
Level sensor
The pump has an electronic level sensor that switches the engine off automatically if the engine oil level
is too low.
6.5.2
Operation under extreme conditions
Operating combustion engines under extreme conditions can have consequences for the performance
of the engine. Consult your Holmatro dealer before you commence working in one of the following
conditions:
Temperature lower than -20 °C.
Extremely dusty environment.
Altitude higher than 1500 m.
CAUTION
The nozzle of the carburetor should be changed when the pump is used above 1500 m
altitude. The standard mix of air and petrol is too rich for working at altitudes more than
1500 m. Whereas a modified engine for use above 1500 m can overheat if used at lower
altitudes.
CAUTION
These conditions may necessitate adjustments to your equipment. Not making these
adjustments can result in serious damage to your equipment.
6.5.3
Fuel storage
Keep in mind that fuels like unleaded petrol and octane (value > 86) can not be stored for a long time
because of the lead replacing elements.
After 1 month, fuel degenerates and loses its efficiency.
After 4 months, the fuel is hardly combustible. Because of the aging process fuel becomes rubbery
and flocks will block the carburetor. Moreover, the rubbery substance causes a viscous, tar-like
sedimentation in the engine.
