3. Pull the piston rods back as far as they will go.
4. Swivel the foil pack holder up.
5. Remove the foil pack.
6. Swivel the foil pack holder into the tool.

1. Pull the piston rods back as far as they will go.
2. Swivel the foil pack holder up.
3. Press the lock on the foil pack holder.
4. Disengage the foil pack holder from the rear locating lug.
5. Pull the foil pack holder clear of the front locating lug.

• Carefully remove any dirt that may be adhering to parts.
• Clean the air vents carefully with a dry brush.
• Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the casing. Do not use cleaning agents containing silicone as
these may attack the plastic parts.

• Keep the battery free from oil and grease.

• Avoid ingress of moisture.
Maintenance

function correctly.
• Do not operate the cordless tool if signs of damage are found or if parts malfunction. Have the tool
repaired by Hilti Service immediately.
• After cleaning and maintenance, fit all guards or protective devices and check that they function correctly.

Possible cause
The battery is not fully inserted.
