Receiver Alarm LED does not light when the beam is
broken.
1. Disruption of power or inadequate power.
– Correct power supply.
2. Bad wiring connections or broken wire, short.
– Check and correct wiring.
3. Beam reflection is flooding receiver.
– Remove the reflecting object. Contact Alarmcom for
further remedies.
4. Four beams are not broken simultaneously.
– Ensure all beams are broken at same time.
5. Beam interruption time is shorter than response time.
– Adjust response time.
Receiver Alarm LED stays lit
1. Alignment is out.
– Check and adjust.
2. Obstruction between Transmitter and Receiver.
– Check site / remove any possible obstacles.
3. Optics of units are dirty.
– Clean the optics with a soft cloth.
4. Frequency channel setting on transmitter does not
match with that on receiver.
– Readjust to the same channel.
Intermittent alarm
1. Bad wiring connection.
– Check again.
2. Change of supply voltage.
– Stabilize supply voltage.
3. Obstructing object between Transmitter and Receiver.
– Remove the obstruction.
4. Transient spikes on supply cables.
– Re–locate.
5. Loose installation of Transmitter and Receiver.
– Tight on.
6. Optics of units are dirty.
– Clean the optics with a soft cloth.
7. Poor alignment.
– Check and adjust again.
8. Animals pass through the four beams.
– Change environment or the installation.
9. Beam power switch is set at L, which is not sensitivity
enough.
– Set beam power switch to H and make the unit gain–
