3.5 Rotary switch configuration
3.5.1 ROT1 – Power source side CAN bus line
speed selection.

3.6 Firmware update.
The interface, art. 428 firmware update is performed ex-
clusively via USB port.
Prepare a USB memory stick, formatted with the FAT32
file system, containing the file "fw.bin" relative to the
"Cebora firmware for art. 428", downloadable from the
http://www.cebora.it web site.
The file "fw.bin" must reside in the "root" of the memory
stick, NOT within folders.
With interface off, insert the "USB memory stick" in the
USB connector J3 (Fig. 3.4).
Power up the interface.
The firmware update begins, LED1 = flashing green.
After 10 s approximately, updating ends, LED1:
− green / red alternate = update passed, extract the
memory stick from J3, power off and on again the
interface;
− red fix = update failed, 2 possible reasons:
− the interface was already programmed with the
same firmware version;
− interface or memory stick defective.
