Disconnect the hydraulic hoses
5.3.1
General
Caution
Never use pliers or similar tools to disconnect the hydraulic couplers.
5.3.2
Disconnect the High-Flow couplers
Refer to Fig. 5.
WARNING
Always make sure that the pressure relief valve is in the "neutral" position, before you
disconnect hydraulic hose(s) from the pump.
•
Disconnect the dust caps from each other.
•
Unscrew the locking ring. The male coupler will be released.
•
Clean the couplers and the dust caps.
•
Replace the dust caps on the female and male couplers.

Use
6.1
General
Check the equipment for completeness and damage. Do not use the equipment if it is damaged; in that
case contact the Holmatro dealer.
WARNING
Make sure you are up to date on all safety regulations and that you have mastered the use of
all equipment of the system you are going to work with.
6.2
Before use
•
Check whether the slide is properly located in its guide.
•
Connect the hydraulic hoses. Refer to chapter 5.2.
6.3
During use
6.3.1
Place the toe jack(s)
•
Place the toe jack only on a solid flat base. On a soft material base (timber, for example) the base
foot of the jack may be pushed into the material, due to which the toe jack may slant or tilt if the
lifting movement is continued.
•
Place the lifting toe of the toe jack as close as possible under the load to prevent the lifting toe from
breaking off.
Caution
Use the correct lifting method according to Fig. 6.:
•
The maximum load on the top of the cylinder is 10 ton.
•
The maximum load on the lifting toe is 8 ton when the toe is on the bottom of the jack
and 5 ton when the toe is on the top of the jack.
