NOTE
• The maintenance intervals given are recommended values and refer to
single-shift operation.
• Maintenance and cleaning work may only be carried out by qualified
and trained specialists.
• Always wear your personal protective clothing when performing
maintenance and cleaning work.
1 Remove adhering welding spatter.
2 Check all screw joints for tight fit.
ABICOR BINZEL offers repair services at the factory.
1 Unscrew the hose assembly on the machine side and bring it into a
stretched position.
2 Unscrew retaining nut and pull out guide spiral liner or PA liner.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable
protective clothing, in particular safety goggles.
3 Clean wire feed hose from both sides with compressed air.
4 Slide adjusted guide spiral liner or PA liner into wire feed hose and secure
with retaining nut.
NOTE
• New still unused guide spiral liners or PA liners have to be shortened to
the actual length of the hose assembly.
• Mounting of plastic liners is similar to mounting guide spiral liners. Please
refer to the operating instructions of the manufacturer of the wire feeder.
• For aluminium, plastic liners are used. Plastic liners and fastening material
are available on request.
