Setting up Communications

Now that the hardware is installed, you must choose the
method the IQ LXM-DTC Satellite Controller will use to
communicate with the Central Control Computer.
1 Rotate the dial to the IQ™ COMMUNICATIONS
position.

Press 1 for Communication Configuration.

Press 1 for Communication Choice.

Press the number that corresponds to the installed
communications method:
1 - Direct Connect
2 - External Modem
3 - Internal Modem (DTC-LXM-PR only)

A light on the DTC-LXM cartridge corresponding to
your communication choice (phone for internal
modem or RS232 for external modem and Direct
Connect) illuminates to verify the setting (see page 18).
You are now ready to test communications and begin using
the IQ Satellite.
