Verify the Connect Baud Rate

1 On the Diagnostics screen, press the 2 softkey to
display the Connected Baud Rate screen.
2 The Baud Rate screen shows xxxxxx as the reported
baud rate on an internal or external modem, and the
user-selected baud rate on a Direct Connection.
This value could range from 2400 up to 38400 bps.
If the LXM-DTC Satellite is not connected, "Not
Connected" is displayed with no data rate shown.
Press Back to return to the Diagnostics screen.

Place a Test Call

NOTE: The Place Test Call feature is only
available for internal or external phone
modem communication devices.
1 If you are using the internal or an external phone
modem, Press 3 to access the Test Call screen.
If you have placed a test call previously, the software
"remembers" the last Dial Number entered and
displays it on the Test Call screen.
