later. A separate safety thermostat limits the incubator
temperature to approximately 95°C in the event of a tem-
perature controller failure. An indicator on the front panel
shows when this condition exists. A rotisserie holds the
sample tubes and rotates to provide membrane coverage.
Rotisserie rotation speed can be varied by a knob on the
front panel. A jog control permits rotating the rotisserie in
steps to insert and remove tubes. The incubator has a
glass door for observing samples during processing.
Interior surfaces are stainless steel for high durability and
low maintenance. Small and medium same size units are
stackable with an optional stacking plate. The small incu-
bator can be mounted under a cabinet or counter with the
optional mounting bracket.

Rotisseries Available

Different size rotisseries accept different sample tube
capacities:
• With the small unit, the supplied rotisserie
accepts 4 of the 35x300 mm sample tubes or 8
of the 35x150 mm tubes. An optional rotisserie
accepts 2 of the 70x300 mm tubes.
• With the medium unit, the supplied rotisserie
accepts 10 of the 35x300 mm tubes or 20 of the
35x150 mm tubes per incubator. An optional
rotisserie accepts 4 of the 70x300 mm tubes per
incubator.
• The dual unit, accepts two rotisseries, identical
to those describe for use in the medium unit.
As an alternative to rotisseries, a rocker is available for
agitating samples. The rocker is an option on the medium
and dual units and it replaces the rotisserie.
