(f) Set [CYCLE TIME]: The total duration of the watering
cycle can be set to 1HR (1 hour), 2HR, 3HR, 4HR,
6HR, 8HR, 12HR, 1 DAY, 2 DAYS, 3 DAYS, 4 DAYS, 5
DAYS, 6 DAYS, 7 DAYS
Based on [RUN TIME] setting and [MIST CYCLE]
setting, the programme will automatically compute
the value of the MINIMUM [CYCLE TIME]. If the
programmed value of the MINIMUM [CYCLE TIME]
must be changed, press Key B or C until the desired
value is reached. Then press Key A to save the value.
Now, [CYCLE TIME] is set.
Example to figure out the MINIMUM [CYCLE
TIME] :
Considering WATERING TIME [RUN TIME] = 80 min. and
INTERMITTENT CYCLE [MIST CYCLE] = 15min. (15 min.
intermittent cycle time means irrigation for 15min., stop
for 10 min. and then irrigation for another 15 min.; 12
min. intermittent cycle means irrigation for 12 min., stop
for 10 min. and then irrigation for another 12 min.):
• Number of irrigations = 80/15 = 5 times 15min +
5min. remainder: Which means that the minimum
number of irrigations is 6. (5 times x 15min.=
75min. + 5min. remainder)
• If there are 6 irrigations, this meaning 5 stops of 10
min; 5 stops x 10min.each = 50min. total stop time
• If WATERING TIME = 80 min. and total stop time
between irrigations is = 5 times x 10min. stop
time = 50 min. total stop time: WATERING TIME +
INTERMITTENT CYCLE TIME = 80 + 50 = 130 min.
• As 130 min. = 2 hours + 10 min. and the
programmer can only program exact hours or days,
the programmer will automatically program the
MINIMUM DURATIONOF COMPLETE WATERING
CYCLE [CYCLE TIME] to 3 hours
(g) Set the WATERING DAYS:
When the raindrop icon blinks to the left of MO
(Monday), pressing Key B assigns the raindrop icon
and automatically the raindrop icon starts blinking
to the left of the next day of the week TU (Tuesday).
When the raindrop icon next to any day of the
week blinks, e.g. WE (Wednesday), pressing Key C
automatically deletes the raindrop of that day WE
(Wednesday) and said icon starts blinking to the left
of the next day TH (Thursday) in this case.
After selecting the watering and non-watering days
for the 7 days of the week, press Key A to save the
selected days of the week. In this way, the raindrop
icon appears next to the programmed watering
days, and no watering will take place the days with
no icon.
Instructions for configuration
Now, the watering days are set and the programmer
goes to [ON/OFF] mode
(h) Set [ON/OFF] mode:
Once steps (a) to (g) have been set correctly, press
Key A for more than 3 seconds, then [ON] or [OFF]
blink. Press Key B or C to select [ON] or [OFF]. If [ON]
is selected, all settings will run, whereas if [OFF] is
selected, the settings will not run. Then, press Key A
once for the programmer to go to the first step (step
highlighted with a black blinking line, which shows
the current day of the week); then, press repeatedly
Key A to go through all the programmed steps one
by one (TIME, WATERING START TIME, WATERING
TIME, INTERMITTENT CYCLE TIME, DURATION OF
COMPLETE WATERING CYCLE and WATERING DAYS)
so that some values can be changed if required.
When the step to set the watering days is reached
and configured, press Key A, and all displayed values
blink once, which means that all the configured steps
shown on the screen are confirmed.
(i) If the configuration process is interrupted:
On any step, the programme will quit the
configuration if configuring remains inactive for more
than 3 minutes.
- When programming for the first time (FIRST
- In case of the second or subsequent programming,
(j) Set DURATION OF MANUAL WATERING: The duration
of manual watering can be set from 1 minute (01
min) to 199 minutes.
Press Key C for more than 3 seconds until symbol
appears on the top right corner of the LCD and [RUN
TIME] blinks (normally a blinking 30 min. appears by
default). Then press Key B or C until the desired value
is reached. When the desired value has been selected,
press Key A to save the selected value.
9
CONFIGURATION), the programme will quit said
configuration, and will show by default:
• Cursor (black line) under MO (Monday).
• 01 min. [RUN TIME].
• 0 min. [MIST CYCLE].
• 1min. [CYCLE TIME].
the programme will quit all configurations made
and will show the previous settings. This is because
the programming process has not been completed
(Setting TIME, WATERING START TIME, WATERING
TIME, INTERMITTENT CYCLE TIME, DURATION OF
COMPLETE WATERING CYCLE and WATERING
DAYS).
