Connect the pressure regulator
Refer to Fig. 1.
Release and remove the cover of the compressed air bottle.
Open the air bottle slightly and quickly close the bottle. This blows the connection valve clean.
Check the thread of the compressed air bottle for damage.
Check whether the flow regulation knob (5) is closed.
Check if the O-ring (8) on connection (2) is present.
Tighten the connection (2) of the pressure regulator firmly to the compressed air bottle valve.
Turn the pressure regulation knob (3) for adjusting the reduced air pressure as far as possible to
ensure that the compression spring is released.
Connect the hose (7).

Use
6.1
General
To have the equipment always ready before use, the equipment must be checked and inspected directly
after use before it is stored.
WARNING
Make sure you are up to date on all safety regulations and that you have mastered the
use of all equipment of the system you are going to work with.
Never try to connect or disconnect pneumatic connectors if the equipment is being used
or if the system is under pressure.
Use hearing protection during continuous use of pneumatic systems.
6.2

Before use

Refer to Fig. 1.
Connect the pressure regulator, see chapter 5.2
Slowly open the compressed air bottle. The pressure in the bottle is now indicated on the pressure
gauge (1).
Set the operating pressure by turning the pressure regulation knob (3) clockwise until the required
operating pressure is shown on the pressure gauge (4).
Slowly open the flow regulation knob (5) to allow the air flowing into the connected hose. The
released air flow can result in a slight pressure drop. Adjust the pressure with the pressure
regulation knob (3), if necessary.
6.3

During use

6.3.1
Set the pressure regulator
Set the pressure regulator at the maximum pressure suitable for the connected air tool. See the manual
of the air tool for the appropriate maximum pressure.
WARNING
Reset the pressure regularly to avoid that the pressure increases too much when the
pressure in the bottle reduces (Fig. 3)
