After use
6.4.1
Shut down
Refer to Fig. 1.
•
Close the compressed air bottle after completion of the work.
•
Completely depressurize the regulator by turning the pressure regulation knob (3) anti-clockwise.
•
Close the flow regulation knob (5).
•
Disconnect the hose and the pressure regulator.
6.4.2
Inspection
Refer to Fig. 1.
•
Check the equipment for completeness and damage. Do not use the equipment if it is damaged; in
that case contact the Holmatro dealer.
•
Check whether the O-ring (8) is on the pressure regulator, the O-ring may drop or stick to the air
bottle side.
6.4.3
Cleaning and storage
•
Remove dirt and dust from the pressure regulator with a soft cloth.
•
Dry the equipment if it was used in wet conditions. Rub a light layer of WD-40 preservative oil on the
steel parts.
•
Store the equipment in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Extra user information
6.5.1
Operation under extreme conditions
Other gas than air may be used in emergency situations when compressed air is not available.

Troubleshooting
7.1
General
Consult the Holmatro dealer if the listed solutions do not give the desired result, or in case of other
problems. For malfunctions or repair, always specify the model and serial number of the equipment.
7.2
The air flows through the regulator without any control

Possible cause
The O-ring between the compressed air bottle and
the pressure regulator is missing.
The compressed air bottle valve is opened too fast
and the valve is stuck.
7.3
Poorly or constantly fluctuating air flow through the regulator
/i
Possible cause
Fouling in the valve. The sintered filter element in
the connection valve can become loose due to
releasing the threaded nipple. Then the nipple
vibrates and releases dust particles.

Remove the pressure regulator and refit with O-
ring.
