The connection to the mains is made from the intake hose. This cable has four wires, three of which are
connected to the mains and the other (yellow, with green border) must be connected to the earth intake of the
plug. The Figure 5 shows the connection of the intake hose to the two most common types of standardised
plug (IEC 309-2). In this figure L1, L2 and L3 show the phase cables and PE represents the earth protection
conductor.
DO NOT FORGET TO FIT THE EARTH CONNECTION INTO THE PLUG.

If a supply hose longer than 5 metres should be required, you should replace the existing hose with another
one whose section must be chosen according to Table 3. To carry out this operation remove the side of the
equipment (mark 85 on the general parts explosion), the terminals of the supply hose are adjacent to the
intake stuffing box (mark 19 on the general parts explosion).
