Apart from usual maintenance, all maintenance operations must be performed by an approved
agent.

5.1/ CHANGING THE BATTERY

When the battery symbol
- switch off the calibrator, disconnect it from any instrument or installation,
- open the battery compartment, in the back of the case, using a coin,
- remove the battery and replace it with a new one in accordance with the polarity. Use a
battery type 6 LR 61 or 6 LF 22,
- reclose the cover of the compartment by gently tightening the screw.

5.2/ CLEANING

The case can be cleaned with any non-abrasive, non acid and non thinner product, such as
a soft cloth moistened with a little soapy water.
If thinner is spilt on the instrument, it must be allowed to dry, without rubbing, so as not to
damage the marking on the case.

5.3/ CALIBRATION CHECK

It is essential that all measuring instruments are regularly calibrated.
For occasional daily use, we recommend that an annual calibration be carried out.
When the instrument is used continuously every day, we recommend that calibration is carried
out every 6 months.

5.4/ REPAIR

Repairs under or out of guarantee: Please return the product to your distributor.
