STEP 5: Setting The Watering Day Scheduler
Move the switch under A and/or B to the set the desired watering day(s) —
individual weekdays SUN through SAT, or every 2ND or 3RD day.
Please refer to the following guidelines for important watering schedule infor-
mation.
• A selected weekday (Sunday – Saturday) takes priority over a 2ND or 3RD
day option, and a 2ND day option takes priority over a 3RD day option.
• If the 2ND day option is in the ON position when power is applied to the
controller, the controller will skip one day before watering, then continue
watering every other day. For example, if the current day is Sunday and a
program is set to start at 3:00 a.m., the first watering day will be Tuesday
morning at 3:00 a.m. Wednesday will be skipped and Thursday will be the
next watering day. Watering on every 3RD day will occur in a similar manner
as every 2ND day, but will skip two days between active watering days.
• During watering, the zone number and the elapsed run time will be dis-
played. The display starts at one minute and counts up to the total set run
time before advancing to the next zone to be watered. See example below.
Manual Operation
To operate individual zones manually, move the PGM (program) switch of the
zone you wish to operate to the MAN (manual) position.
Please note the following manual operating guidelines.
• Only one zone at a time may be watered manually.
• The zone will continue to water as long as the switch remains in the MAN
position.
• If more than one program switch is placed in the MAN position, only the
lowest number zone will water. When the switch is moved off the MAN posi-
tion, the next lowest zone set on MAN will water.
• Manual operation will override any automatic or semi-automatic watering
cycle, including any watering cycle in progress in addition to rain hold.
• During manual operation, the active zone number and the word ON will be
displayed. See example below.
