possible causes and remedies. If the problem cannot be resolved or you would

SYMPTOM
One or more zones do
not operate.
Display is stuck on a
zone and "FUS" is flash-
ing in the display.
Continuous loss of
watering program.
Zones turn on when
they are NOT pro-
grammed to start.
Clock has the correct
time and the zones
appear to be functioning
properly, but none of the
valves operate automati-
cally.
Zone does not shut off
TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Zone PGM switch is in
the Off position.
2. Faulty wire connection.
3. Faulty valve solenoid.
4. Valve flow control closed.
1. Faulty valve solenoid.
2. Shorted wire connection.
1. Battery.not installed
2. Weak or bad battery.
3. Controller is on a circuit
controlled by a switch or
with a high current load
appliance (refrigerator,
air conditioner, etc.).
1. Start times and the total
combined zone run times
have overlapped.
1. Controller is in the Rain
Delay mode.
2. Valve common wire is
not connected.
1. Zone PGM switch is in
the MAN position.
2. Faulty solenoid and/or
valve.

REMEDY
1. Place switch in A or B
program position.
2. Check and repair wiring
connections as needed.
3. Check for proper valve
solenoid operation.
4. Turn flow control stem
counterclockwise.
1. Replace solenoid.
2. Check and repair wiring
connections as needed.
1. Install battery.
2. Replace battery.
3. Connect controller to a
branch circuit without a
switch other equipment.
1. Check Programming.

1. Press CLEAR/RAIN key
to release Rain-Delay.
2. Check and repair wiring
connections as needed.
1. Move zone PGM switch
from the MAN position.
2. Disassemble valve, clean
and replace components
