06. CLEANING AND CARE

DANGER of electric shock as a result of moisture
Remove the mains plug from the socket before wiping the motor block
with a damp cloth.
The motor block, the connecting cord and the mains plug must not be
immersed in water or other liquids.

CAUTION! Material damages
Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
After each use
Clean the appliance immediately after each use. If you wait too long, cleaning
will become unnecessarily difficult and, in extreme cases, very time-consuming.
Heavy soiling may result in permanent damages to the appliance.
1. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
2. If required, wipe the motor block and the connecting cord with a slightly
damp cloth. Wipe again with a dry cloth.
3. Remove the blender shaft from the motor block.
4. Clean the blender shaft
Use a brush, if necessary.
NOTES:
After having blended very salty food, you should immediately rinse the knife
with clear water.
Discolouration on the plastic parts caused by certain foods can be removed
with a few drops of edible oil.
5. Allow all parts to dry completely before storing them or using the appliance
again. Place the blender shaft in an upright position (knife pointing up-
wards) so as to allow the water to run out.

07. STORAGE

Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
Do not wrap the connecting cord around the appliance (danger of cable
