11. DISPOSAL
This symbol indicates that, in the European Union, the product must
be disposed of at a separate waste collection point. This applies to the
product and all accessories marked with this symbol. Products marked
as such may not be discarded with normal domestic waste, but must
be taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic
appliances.
Packaging
If you want to dispose of the packaging, make sure you comply with
the environmental regulations applicable in your country.
12. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Using the 500ml chopper
The chopper is ideally suited for chopping hard foods such as meat, cheese,
onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, plums, etc.
Do not process extremely hard foods such as ice cubes, nutmeg, coffee beans
and cereals.
Before use
1. Carefully remove the plastic cover from the knife.
WARNING! The knife is extremely sharp.
Hold the crushing unit by the upper plastic part only.
2. Press the knife onto the centre pin of the chopper bowl so that it locks in place
with an audible click. Always place the chopper bowl on the non-slip base.
3. Fill the foods into the chopper.
4. Close the chopper bowl with the lid (Bayonet catch).
5. Connect the motor block to the crushing unit.
6. Start with speed setting "II" and press button
Whilst processing the foods, hold the motor block with one hand and the
chopper with the other.
7. After use, disconnect the mains plug from the socket and remove the chop-
per from the motor block.
8. Remove the lid from the bowl and pull out the knife carefully.
9. Remove the processed foods from the bowl.
