NOTE: For shorter planned use time, you can partially fill
the Companion Portable unit by closing the vent valve
sooner than you normally would. In this way, your Portable
unit will be even lighter and you will waste less oxygen.
For Companion 1000T only
Attach Moisture Cup by inserting fastener and rotating thumb nut
clockwise until it snaps into position.
10. Place the oxygen tube on the Companion Portable oxygen outlet
connector and adjust the cannula or other breathing device to the face
to receive oxygen comfortably.
11. Adjust the cannula to comfortably fit your face (Figure 14). When the
cannula is in place, turn the Flow Control to the prescribed rate.
