4. DETECTION OF MALFUNCTION
The table below shows the possible malfunctions, what brought them about and
the solutions to follow
MALFUNCTION
1. Smoke mislead
insufficient air intake.
2. Glass (too dirty)
3. Whitening of the glass or
damage the color of the
plate
4. Little heating
5. Smoke going out through
front door.
6. Malfunction of opening
mechanism.
7. Door moves itself.
8. Cracks in some parts of
vermiculite inside

CAUSE
or Inadequate pipe.
Insufficient air for combustion
Inadequate pipe.
Inadequate fuel.
Upper deflected panel misadjusted
Excess temperature caused by an
excessive fire in the
chamber
Inadequate fuel.
Inadequate air inlet to smokestack
First lit.
Flammable or combustible elements
inside the fireplace or around.
Crack in the flue.
Upper deflected panel misadjusted
Blockage of the mechanism.
Misadjusted counterweight.
Beat in one of the pieces performed,
especially at the time of recharge
SOLUTION
Check pipe:
-connection
-diameter
-leaks
-insufficient length
-outlet
-blockage
Check the flue draught entry
Other ventilation or heating device work
simultaneously
Check pipe
Use authorized fuel
Adjust according directions
Check the fuel load
combustion
Set the registers according to paragraph 2.2.
Authorized fuel
Check chamber and seal to the flue
Wait for the polymerisation process (more than
one lit)
Check insulation material (glass fibre, igneous
wood or other elements), possibly replace
them
Check for cracks and call dealer
Adjust according directions.
Free the door and close it some centimetres.
Remove front frame and add or subtract
weight.
Try not to pull the logs but put
Perform charging where the temperature of the
combustion chamber has decreased
NOTE: If the part is only cracked but does
not move from your site, you can continue
using the device with absolute normality
(see section 2.6. Loading and refueling)
