Put a paper filter (type 1x4 or no. 4) in the filter holder.
Do not forget to fold the sealed edges of the filter.
Some versions come with a permanent filter. In this case, you do not
need to use a paper filter.

Fill the water tank with water and put the jug in place.
Type HD 7607 only: the level indications on the left apply to large cups
(120 ml).The level indications on the right apply to small cups (80 ml).

Put pre-ground coffee (filter-fine grind) in the filter.
Types HD 7603 and HD 7605 only: the coffee dose indicator helps
you determine the right balance between coffee grounds and water.
The indicator on the left tells you the number of large cups (120 ml)
and the indicator on the right tells you how many level measuring
spoons of ground coffee you should use (this number applies to both
Gold and Mocca coffee).

Close the lid.

Select the strength and the amount of coffee you want to brew:
- Gold [
- Gold p
- Mocca p : for more than half a jug of robust coffee.
- Mocca [ : for less than half a jug of robust coffee.

Switch the appliance on by pressing the button.

Switch the appliance off after use.
Types HD 7605 and HD 7607only: if you have not switched the
appliance off, the appliance will automatically switch itself off after two
hours.
