6. Maintenance instructions
6.1 Checking and cleaning the throttle sleeve and the hole for the pressure transducer
module
Clean the throttle sleeve and the throttle port as required, particularly if the pressure transducer
module has not been used for some time. Hardening caused by fuel residue can clog the small
hole for the throttle sleeve (2) and thus result in incorrect measuring results.
Disassembly:
- Unscrew the container.
- Unscrew the drainage connection (3).
- Unscrew the throttle sleeve (2).
Checking and cleaning:
- Using a strong light source, e.g. LED
flashlight, check whether the hole is clear.
If not, clean the throttle hose in the ultrasound
bath.
- After cleaning, check the hole for the throttle
sleeve again and repeat the cleaning process
if necessary.
Assembly:
- Blow out the throttle port using with
compressed air using the fitting (1).
- Screw the throttle sleeve (2) back into place.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm
- Screw the drainage connection (3) back into
the throttle sleeve.
