1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS.
The GALA MIG line equipment permits carrying out electrical welding by means of MIG-MAG semi-
automatic procedure with carbon steels, weakly alloyed steels, stainless and aluminium steels, which are the
most commonly used metals in modern industry.
The GALA MIG line is characterised because its wire feed unit is separate from the power source (wire-feed unit). This
system makes it easier to move the equipment to different industrial work locations.
The whole modular system that makes up the installation comprises the following elements:
1.1 – Power source. (Earth cable included).
1.2 - Wire feed unit (Independent from the power source).
1.3 - Connection extension lead between power source and wire-feed unit. Welding torch.
1.4 - Transport trolley (compulsory if a cooling module is installed) or bottle support.
1.5 - Auxiliary elements: Pressure reducing valve for gas bottle, gas economiser.
