Polytropic
• Then proceed through all the usual initial operations (filling, treatment,
washing of the filter..., and:
• Opening of the by pass valves
• Turn filtration pump on.
• Turn pool heat pump on, set temperature, set water flow.
• Cover the pool with solar cover.
Leave the pool system and pool heat pump working permanently until the pool
has reached the required temperature (will take approximately 36 hours to 1
week). Don't forget to set the water flow and required temperatures.
The time for the pool temperature to increase depends a lot on exposure of
swimming pool to wind, sun and the pool environment as well as the heat pump
size.
Maintaining the temperature
Once the temperature you require is reached, you can reduce the filtration period
according to the temperature requirements. The pool heat pump will be started
automatically when this is necessary.
Don't forget to use a thermal cover on the pool in order to maintain the heat of the
pool in the water.
A pool without any form of cover will loose 4 times much energy as a pool with cover.
