6. Prepare the printer for use.
a. Install the print ribbon carrier.
b. Install the retransfer ribbon carrier.
c. Close all latches.
d. Close the side cover.
e. Turn the mode switch to the correct operating position. For more information, refer to
page 6.
f. Power on the printer. The printer is ready.
