Mounting instructions
The DGM1D has to be installed in a protected
environment compliant to the level 2 of the NF
EN 61000-4-4. The wires should not be close
to other source of energy (Ex.: power supply, main
power line, etc.).
Checking during the installation
Once the installation is completed, during powering
the controller, the reader LED color is orange during
4 seconds and turns off after, the LED will stay off
until a badge is swiped.
Access Control operating mode:
3 different mode to program a badge:
- Standalone (remove jumper JP2
on the controller),
- Terminal unit (put the jumper JP2 on the controller),
- Software + terminal (put the jumper JP2
of the central unit).
Notes: To change modes, use the jumper JP2
after the power supply of the central unit is off.
When You change modes, all the data from the
previous mode are erased.
A - STANDALONE MODE (WhITE LIST)
How to create or replace a Master Badge
- Put JP1 jumper on the controller,
- Swipe a badge in fgront of the reader,
- Remove jumper JP1.
How to add a badge (max. 200)
- Swipe the Master Badge in front of the reader,
to enter in programming mode (the LED turns
amber for 2 seconds),
- Enrol the badges;
30 seconds after the last badge is programmed,
the controller exit from programming mode
(The LED turns solid orange for 10 seconds
– during this step, do not do swipe any badge).
Delete all the badges (reset
to the factory default values)
- Turn off the power on the controller,
- Put JP2 jumper,
- Turn on the power; The LED of the reader
turns on solid red; the reset is completed when
the LED starts flashing in red,
- Turn off again the power on the controller,
- Remove jumper JP2,
- Turn on the power supply; the controller is ready
to be reprogrammed,
Note: the Master Badge is not deleted.
Lock time
- The programming is done with the button
connected to the terminal J5,
- Present the Master Badge on the reader,
- Push the button: a push corresponds to one second
of relay opening time (10 pushes = 10 seconds),
- 30 seconds after the last press on the button the
central unit leaves the programming (the LED of
the control unit is flashing a number of times
corresponding to the seconds programmed as relay
opening time: for example 10 seconds = 10 blinking).
B – hANDhELD TERMINAL (BLACk LIST)
In this mode, the controller ref. PCV123D
gives more functionality than
the previous mode:
- Unlimited number of users;
- Possibility to delete badges;
- Possibility to create a black list of badges with
no access to the site (max. 200 badges);
- Possibility to add passes badges
to access multiple sites.

C - SOFTWARE + hANDhELD TERMINAL (BLACk LIST)
The software comes with the PCV123D handheld
terminal. It is intended to bring more functions
such as a user database and manage the backups.

the online user guide.
Recommended power supplies
ARD12 or BS60.
CE Standards
The DGM1D controller is compliant with directive
R&TTE1999/5/CE: electrical safety norm EN
60950(2000), norm CEM EN 50130-4, applied RF
norm EN 300 330-2(2001).
