CONNECTION
For the connection of your regulator we advise you to ask assistance of qualified personel in accordance
to the standards in your country.
Connect each component to the symbols added for this purpose (cables not included).
Please follow the connection order in accordance with the polarities.
In case of non-compliance, your solar charge controller as well as your battery may get damaged.
Connect your battery to the solar charge controller (+ and -)
The battery indicator light should turn on
Connect your solar panel to the charge regulator (+ and -)
Select your battery's technology:
- Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, the light should start blinking
- Select your battery's technology by pressing the button
Liquid light:
Gel light:
AGM light:
Liquid + recond light: Open leaded liquid battery with step 4,
Recond (see charging step section)

To confirm your selection, wait for 5 seconds. The light will dtop
blinking and the Unimppt has memorised your last setup.
In case of disconnection, follow the opposite order
GROUNDING – INSTALLATION CLASS
The grounding of the solar charge controller is often not needed. If you do want to ground, always do this
on the negative pole of the battery.
For UNIMPPT 100/40.24S - 100/50.24S -100/60.24S only, the open circuit voltage of your solar panels is
higher than 75 V (throughout the complete operating temperature range), the whole solar system must be
installed according to the II class of protection.
