A new transmitter can easily be memorized with the same characteristics as that of the old one by following the procedure in table A17.
The "new" transmitter will inherit the characteristics of the old one, i.e. if the old transmitter was memorized in Mode 1, the new one will also
function in Mode 1, if the old transmitter was memorized in Mode II then the button of the new transmitter will be associated to the same
command as that of the old one.
Table "A17"
Memorizing other transmitters
1.
Press and hold down the button to be memorized of the new transmitter
(for approx. 3 seconds) then release it
2.
Press and hold down the button to be memorized of the old transmitter
(for approx. 3 seconds) then release it
3.
Press and hold down the button to be memorized of the new transmitter
(for approx. 3 seconds) then release it
4.
Press and hold down the button to be memorized of the old transmitter
(for approx. 3 seconds) then release it
5.
The memorization of the new transmitter is confirmed with 3 beeps
Note: If the memory is full (14 transmitters), 6 beeps will indicate that the transmitter cannot be memorized.
5.3) Programming of the positions without transmitter
Even if less comfortable the travel limits and RDC function can be programmed by means of the step-by-step input rather than a remote con-
trol. Programming is different depending on whether the RDC function is to be activated or not, therefore follow the appropriate procedure.
Table "A18"
Programming positions "0" and "1" without RDC by means of the step-by-step control
1.
Activate the step-by-step command; if the awning descends release the command
and repeat the operation.
2.
Keep the step-by-step command on until the motor automatically stops because the
awning is completely wound (position "0").
The command can be released
3.
Using the step-by-step command (hold-to-run function) stop the awning during the
downward movement in correspondence with the desired opening point (position "1")
so that a subsequent command causes the awning to retract.
4.
Activate the step-by-step twice (within 2 second) keeping the second command active
for at least 5 seconds (motor idle) until 3 beeps are heard and a short up and down
movement occurs signalling that the position has been memorised
Table "A19"
Programming positions "0" and "1" with RDC by means of the step-by-step command
1.
Activate the step-by-step command; if the awning descends release the command
and repeat the operation.
2.
Keep the step-by-step command on until the motor automatically stops because the
awning is completely wound (position "0").
3.
Continue to maintain the command for a further 5 seconds until the awning starts a
short downward movement
4.
Using the step-by-step command (hold-to-run function), stop the awning during the
downward movement in correspondence with the desired opening point (position "1")
so that a subsequent command causes the awning to retract.
5.
Activate the step-by-step twice (within 2 second) keeping the second command active
for at least 5 seconds (motor idle) until 3 beeps are heard and a short up and down
movement occurs signalling that the position has been memorised
Note: the partial opening distance can not be memorised with the step-by-step command.
If the positions or the RDC function needs to be modified, the programming must be cancelled and the entire procedure repeated again.
Table "A20"
Cancellation of the positions and of the RDC function by means of the step-by-step command
1.
Activate the step-by-step command; if the awning retracts release the command
and repeat the operation.
2.
Maintain the command until an up manoeuvre starts after approximately 3 seconds;
activate the step-by-step twice (within 2 second) keeping the second command active
to stop the awning and repeat the downward movement.
3.
Repeat the previous point another 3 times.
The upward manoeuvre does not start on the third attempt.
4.
Keep the step-by-step command on for another 10 seconds until 5 beeps signals that
all positions and the RDC function have been cancelled
Note: After the positions have been cancelled the movements are performed with hold-to-run
