Reassemble the blade (2) with the code and markings
facing the ground, following the steps indicated in the
illustration.
Tighten the central screw (1) using a torque wrench
set to 35-40 Nm.
9.2 TRACTION ADJUSTMENT
On power-driven models, the proper belt tension is obtained by adjusting the nut (1) to get the
indicated measurement (6 mm).
9.3 WINTER MAINTENANCE
At the end of the season, before putting your lawnmower away for use in the next
fine season, we advise you to check some points.
This task can be entrusted to the Mr. Bricolage after-sales service.
– C arefully clean all external parts of the machine and engine.
– Lubricate all rotating parts.
– Drain the engine of fuel to prevent petrol deposits in the carburettor.
– Drain the engine of oil and top it up.
– Unscrew the sparking plug and pour 3 cm3 of engine oil through the plughole. Turn the
engine over for two or three revs using the starting cable to distribute the oil, then refit the
plug.
– Check or change the starting plug.
– C lean the air filter with a compressor or replace it if it is too dirty.
– Lubricate the transmission and control cables and levers.
– For best cutting, clean the cutting plate and sharpen and balance the blade.
