INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Thank you for choosing a MELICONI product
The Meliconi AD PROFESSIONAL indoor amplifi ed antenna can receive and amplify digital
terrestrial TV signals and DAB radio signals on VHF bands (band III - 174~230 MHz) and UHF
bands (470~790 MHz). The antenna can be connected to a television or a digital terrestrial
decoder.

• The product is for internal use only; do not use outdoors.
• Keep away from water: the appliance must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do
not use in damp surroundings.
• The product must not be exposed to sources of excessive heat such as solar radiation, fi re or
similar.
• Do not use a power supply other than the one provided with the appliance.
• In order to allow the separation of the equipment from the electrical network, the power supply
must be easily accessible.
• If you notice any irregularity in the power supply, disconnect it immediately from the electrical
socket.
• To avoid electric shock, do not tamper with the appliance or attempt to repair it.
• The product is not a toy; it should not be accessible to children or pets.
• Before establishing connections, disconnect the appliances from the power supply.

• Use the specifi c screw, included in the box, to fi x the plastic support to the antenna (fi gure1).
• The antenna can be placed horizontally or vertically on a fl at surface (fi gure 2), or it can be
fi xed to the wall using the 2 holes on the support (fi gure 3).
• Place the antenna in a favourable position, for example near a window and/or toward a tv
transmission tower; away from metal objects, electrical appliances and reinforced concrete
walls that would restrict its functioning.
• Connect the Meliconi antenna to the aerial socket at the back of the television or digital
terrestrial decoder, using the specifi c cable (fi gure 4). If the decoder antenna socket is
F-female type, obtain a F-male/IEC-female adapter (not included in the box).
• Use the AC/DC power supply unit included the box to power the antenna; insert the cable into
the antenna power input and connect the power supply to a 230V~/50Hz electrical outlet.
• When used on a boat or in a camper van, the antenna can be powered from the DC 12V
100mA input, following the polarities indicated on the power socket. (adapter not supplied).
• Rotate the knob (A), located on one side of the antenna, to turn on the antenna and adjust it
for maximum amplifi cation.
